Match the iPad model before exporting your design
An iPad screen is not simply a wider iPhone screenshot. Export the tablet layout from your app, simulator, or design tool, with its tablet navigation and spacing. Use the pixel dimensions shown in the model catalogue.
For the frames in mockdevice, iPad Pro 13-inch (M5) uses 2064 × 2752 pixels in portrait; the 11-inch frame uses 1668 × 2420. The two ratios differ, so use the model your layout was made for instead of stretching the same image to both.
Choose portrait or landscape to match the interface
Open the iPad editor, select an orientation, and add a PNG, JPG, or WebP screenshot. For landscape, reverse the listed portrait dimensions. For example, the 13-inch Pro landscape screen is 2752 × 2064 pixels.
If the layout uses a sidebar, check that its full width remains visible. If you are presenting a reading app, inspect the top and bottom text margins. The mockup places the screenshot behind the rounded screen opening; it does not reflow your app interface.
Fit the image or deliberately crop it
Fit image keeps the whole screenshot visible. Filling the screen can crop an image whose proportions differ from the frame. Use the position and crop controls to choose which part remains visible, rather than distorting the image.
A small source can still look blurry in a large export. Use the original screenshot instead of a compressed copy from a messaging app. When possible, capture at the selected device’s native screen resolution.
Export for a website or presentation
Download Device only for a transparent PNG of the tablet and your screen. Use Canvas for a fixed-size composition with a background. The exported image includes the tablet bezel, so its dimensions differ from the screen dimensions.
You can add up to 10 screenshots and download the framed images together as a ZIP. No account or Photoshop is required. The screenshots and draft stay in your browser.
